Fraudulent Claims: What They Are, What They Cost, and How to Prevent Them

In 2025, businesses nationwide experienced an average loss of 9.8% of their annual revenue due to fraud—a dramatic 46% increase compared to 6.5% in 2024. Car washes face unique operational and customer interaction exposures that make them especially vulnerable to fraudulent activity.

In this workshop, we will explore the primary types of claims car wash owners encounter, how these claims can escalate into fraud, and the true financial impact they have on your business. We will also discuss practical strategies and prevention tools that can help reduce your risk, protect your operations, and strengthen your overall fraud defenses.
