Megan Ireland
Director of Operations and Maintenance Systems, Ultra clean Car Wash

About

Megan Ireland began her car wash journey in 2019 after relocating from the Lake of the Ozarks to Kansas City, stepping into what started as a cashier position. What began as a job soon became her purpose. Climbing the ranks to Director of Operations and Maintenance, Megan now leads three locations, cultivating a culture defined by accountability, hands-on learning, and pride in delivering an exceptional clean car. She believes the heartbeat of a great wash is unwavering maintenance and, above all, remarkable people. Her passion lies in developing leaders who grow in confidence, skill, and character. Beyond the wash, Megan finds her greatest joy camping, hiking, and exploring nature trails with her three children—her entire world and the inspiration behind everything she builds. Each year, she eagerly anticipates the Women in Car Wash Conference, a time when friendships deepen, wisdom flourishes, and women unite to remind each other that together, we are stronger, smarter, and more capable.

Own Your Wash: Building a Preventive Maintenance Culture

In this dynamic session, Megan Ireland reveals how to create a maintenance culture that delivers real results—built on discipline, structure, and an unwavering commitment to safety. With a strong foundation, exceptional performance becomes inevitable.

Attendees will discover practical tools, proven systems, and the proactive mindset needed to shift from reactive chaos to confident control. Preventative maintenance isn’t optional—it’s operational insurance. Neglect it, and minor problems rapidly snowball, undermining wash quality, employee morale, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The goal is simple: a consistently clean, dry, and shining car. That level of consistency is never accidental—it’s the result of intentional structure and process.

Participants will walk away with an actionable framework for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual maintenance checks—protecting uptime, extending equipment life, and maximizing profits. The session also dives into building internal capability: developing teams that are skilled, accountable, and empowered to solve problems independently.

This class isn’t about fixing problems—it’s about preventing them altogether. By truly owning your maintenance culture, you stop chasing breakdowns and start driving sustained performance. Own your wash—before it owns you.
